Petition:
There are TWO days left to sign the petition encouraging President Obama to move beyond the bases and speak with the public in order to more accurately understand their concerns surrounding plans for the realignment of Okinawan troops. If you haven’t signed the petition yet, please visit the WAG web-site to sign(www.weareguahan.com).

The Grey Papers:
“The Grey Papers” is a project that continues the groups efforts to disseminate information surrounding the DEIS even after the formal response period. The Grey Papers examine the formal responses submitted by various government agencies, professionals and businesses in order to share their findings with the community. Individuals, groups or agencies interested in sharing their DEIS responses may contact Gen Won Pat-Borja at genevievie@gmail.com

UOG Charter Day:
On Tuesday, March 9, UOG will be hosting their annual Charter Day from 8:30am-4:30pm. We are Guåhan will have a booth set up and will be there to collect petition signatures. If you are interested in helping at this event, please contact Gen Won Pat-Borja at gen@weareguahan.com

Proclamation Signing:
In honor of Mes Chamorro (Chamorro Month), there will be a proclamation signing on Tuesday, March 9 at Chamorro Village. In addition to the proclamation signing and performances, there will be an unveiling of the Map of Guam/Guajan circa 1898. The festivities will begin at 2pm.
Magalahi Films Fundraiser:
On Saturday, March 13, Magalahi Entertainment will be having a fundraiser at Club Denial in Tumon. The fundraiser, “Lose Yourself (Biba Hip Hop Guahan)” will be a local Hip Hop event featuring an emcee battle, bboy competition, DJ exhibition, and performances by local Hip Hop artists. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to We are Guåhan. Tickets will be sold at Burger King locations.
